Fees for Service
Therapy Sessions
Individual therapy session (50 minutes): $280
The Australian Psychological Society recommends a consultation fee of $318 per standard session with a Clinical Psychologist. Our fees are below this recommended rate.
Medicare Rebate
If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $145.25 per session. Referrals can also be made by a paediatrician or psychiatrist. This practice does not bulk bill.
Private Health Insurance
A proportion of the session fee may be redeemable from your private health insurance, depending on your plan. Please contact your provider for details.
Assessment Fees
Assessment fees vary depending on the type and complexity of the assessment. Full details are available on our Assessments page. Fees range from $1,700 to $3,700 and include all sessions, report preparation and a detailed feedback session.
Payment
Payment is required at the time of the appointment. We accept EFTPOS and credit card. Third-party payments are accepted with prior approval.
NDIS
Changing Minds provides services to existing NDIS clients (self-managed and plan-managed). Our NDIS session rate is in accordance with the NDIS Price Guide. For details, please contact our office.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice. A cancellation fee of $100 applies for late cancellations and missed appointments. NDIS cancellation policy is in accordance with your service agreement.
